My first book, “Klonko”, was never meant to be stand-alone title. It was meant to be the hub from which several other stories would revolve, which each subsequent story creating a richer narrative and resolving plot lines introduced in “Klonko” to create a single epic. This didn’t happen. As this was my first book, I wanted IT, and by default, ME, to be as marketable as possible, I decided it would be easier for a publisher to agree to publish if my book wasn’t directly attached to future volumes. So I slapped an ending on it on called it good. But it wasn’t good. Large parts of it don’t make a lot of sense if you don’t know the back story and there were more than one questions left unanswered. It was okay, but it wasn’t great.
It has been bothering me ever since. I needed to give this story it’s proper due respect. “Klonko” wasn’t even the title of the epic, only the title of the first part. The actual title of the entire story is “Rotovita”, a word I made up to mean circular life. So I redrew the “Klonko” comic to match my modern style and I added a “..to be continued…” at the real ending of the story. There are five more parts after this one.
